픽스드기어 자전거 프레임의 특징을 알아보자 로드, 엠티비, 비엠엑스, 이하동문(알류미늄, 카본, 크로몰리)

프레임의 특징 중 하나는 뒷바퀴 드롭아웃이 수평 형태이다.
이게 무슨 말이냐 일반 자전거는 디레일러의 가이드 롤러 케이지에 스프링이 들어있어서 체인의 길이가 항상 잘 조절이 되고 체인이 이탈되는 것을 막아주지만 픽시는 그 부분이 없기 때문에 다른 특징을 가지고 있다고 말할 수 있다.

로드바이크 (도로 차)를 타는 유 저즐은 애호가라고 하긴 뭐 하지만 마니아층이 크로 몰리 혹은 스틸 소재를 사용한 프레임을 아직도 쉽게 볼 수 있다고 한다.
크로 몰리를 좋아하는 이유는 아무래도 통통 튀기는 느낌이 좋아서 그런 거 같다. 뭐 나도 엄청난 전문가는 아니지만 통통 튀기는 느낌이 썩 나쁘지 않다.
또 한 프레임은 소재는 같을지언정 가공을 어찌하는지에 따라서 차이가 큰 프레임이 생산되고 있다고 한다.
이 부분을 비유하자면 우리가 자주 먹는 라면도 누가 끓이느냐의 따라서 다르다는 것이다

또 한 알루미늄 프레임도 많은 비중을 차지한다. 왜냐?
브랜드 자체적으로 알루미늄 프레임이 많이 나오고 있다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
고가의 알류 프레임은 스칸듐 합금을 이용해서 무게를 줄인 다곤들 한다. 당연 선수들은 카본 프레임을 많이 이용할 것이다.


또 한 변속기를 장착할 수 있는 별도의 홀이 없다.
다양한 프레임의 모양을 볼 수 있는데 수평 탑 튜브, 파 슛, 슬로프 등등이 있다.
이러한 다양성 때문에 많은 픽시 유저들은 입맛에 맞게 프레임을 고른다.
관리자는 개인적으로 수평 탑 튜브가 좋다.

또 한 픽시에는 탑 튜브에 케이블을 고정할 수 있는 곳이 없기 때문에 뒷바퀴 브레이크를 달기 굉장히 애매하다.
하지만 안되는 건 없다. 오프라인 매장에 가서 해답을 얻자.

굉장히 다채롭고 아름다움을 보여줄 수 있다.
